Youth Yellow Pages
Youth Yellow Pages: A Self-Directory
The Youth Yellow Pages, a self-directory for youth, was published by the Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way. Fourteen local professionals contributed to the booklet. Thirty-five topics are covered, including AIDS, suicide, peer pressure, teen sexuality, drugs, alcohol, depression, running away, eating disorders, stress, anger management, etc. Within each informational section, the book offers suggestions of where to turn for help.
Standard Distribution
The Youth Yellow Pages are distributed to 7th graders in nine local school districts in Bremer and Butler Counties. Sufficient copies were printed to continue this distribution through the 2010-2011 school year.
